Is de Arctis 5 een USB-headset?
De Arctis 5 kan zowel via USB worden aangesloten op een pc, Mac of PS4 of met de meegeleverde 3,5 mm-adapter voor de Xbox, Switch en mobiele apparaten. Sommige functies zoals ChatMix, surroundgeluid en verlichting zijn alleen beschikbaar wanneer het is aangesloten via USB.
Wat zijn de verschillen tussen de originele Arctis 5 en de 2019 Edition?
We hebben naar klanten geluisterd en onze geweldige gaming-headset nog beter gemaakt. We hebben de snoer van de ChatMix-kiesschijf naar de headset langer gemaakt, de oorkussens dikker gemaakt voor meer comfort en het geluid aangepast voor een diepere basweergave. Alle Arctis 5’s hebben nu ook DTS Headphone:X v2.0, de nieuwste surroundgeluid-technologie van DTS.
Hoe werkt ChatMix?
De Arctis 5 verschijnt als twee afzonderlijke audioapparaten in Windows, een voor game en een voor chat. Je wijst Game toe als het standaard audioapparaat en wijst vervolgens Chat toe in Discord of welke VoIP-client je ook gebruikt. Met de ChatMix-kiesschijf kun je de twee audiostreams tijdens het spelen balanceren zonder ook je game maar te hoeven verlaten.
Moet ik software installeren om de headset te gebruiken?
Voor de basisfunctionaliteit niet, maar SteelSeries Engine-software ontgrendelt een heleboel aanpassingen voor de headset.
